Artcore believes that a child, young person or vulnerable adult should never experience abuse of any kind and we are committed to practice in a way that protects them.  We aim to create an atmosphere where young people and vulnerable adults who use our services feel valued and safe from abuse, bullying and intimidation. We affirm our responsibility to promote the welfare of all children and young people and to keep them safe.  We are committed to practice in a way that protects them.

The Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) and their Deputy

The DSO will be responsible for the effective safeguarding systems within Artcore, offering support and advice to staff and making final decisions in response to concerns. The DSO will be the point of contact for discussion about all concerns, irrespective of their significance.
