Interplay invites guest DJ Kay Fabe to bring ‘ Natural Language’ to Artcore in response to our current exhibition Il.luminar
About this event
In her show, Natural Language Kay Fabe uses a literary text as the basis for each show. She extracts themes from a chosen novel to explore flavours of contemporary conversation and feeling. Through a collage of selected music and audio samples, she creates soundscapes evoking the mood of the novel.
Interplay – is a special late night opening of Il.luminar by Matthew Woodham and Benjamin Shirley – Quirk. For the final evening of the exhibition we invite Kay Fabe to guide us in exploring the narrative behind the work through texture, sound and deep listening.
