Community Hub

Artcore is committed to bringing positive change into the lives of people of all ages, abilities, cultural and ethnic backgrounds through creative activities. Artcore’s strength lies in our ability to connect with diverse communities by offering a welcoming safe space and removing the barriers faced by people from ethnically diverse backgrounds.

Our community hub is located on Charnwood Street in Derby in the heart of the communities we serve.

Our building is multi-functional and includes offices for our staff, a meeting room, a multi-purpose studio area where we run our workshops, a kiln room and a community room/gallery space. Outside we have a covered car park, which also becomes part of our events space.

Worskshops take place on most days and details can be found under Community and Education. We have held some exciting events at the venue over the years.
