An exhibition showcasing the works of London-based artists Freya Gabie and Arjuna Keshvani, emerging from their recent residency in Bengaluru, India. During the residency, they explored the city’s botanical gardens and colonial legacy under the guidance of historian Suresh Jayaram. Freya’s pieces focus on the historic botanical gardens of Lalbagh and Cubbon Park, examining themes of resilience and healing, while Arjuna investigates India’s colonial history, seeking to uncover the implicit connections between the city’s ecology, its industrial complex, and its colonial past.
