The exhibition featured works by local migrant artists Chike Uzoka, Armstrong Agoreyo, and Nazdar Ahmad, reflecting the rich cultural fabric of Derby. Delivered with the support of the Baring Foundation, the Derby Bosnia and Herzegovina Centre, and the Sahahra Centre, the project worked closely with recent immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and members of Derby’s Bosnian and South Asian communities.

Through workshops held at Artcore, the Bosnia-Herzegovina Centre, and the Sahahra Centre, participants explored painting, collage, weaving, sewing, and spoken word as a way to share their experiences and connect with others. Throughout the project, 11 artists engaged more than 500 participants, fostering community cohesion, building confidence, and improving well-being through the arts.

The exhibition was made possible with the support of the Baring Foundation, theDerby Bosnia and Herzegovina centre, and the Sahahra centre for their partnership.
