Join us at Artcore on September 19th as we celebrate Peace Week with a special afternoon event! Starting at 11.30 am, this gathering will explore the theme of peace through diverse perspectives and creative expressions. Highlights include a video screening featuring Derby’s Ambassador in Osnabrück, Jason Dierker, who will share insights on the historic peace treaty, its world heritage status, and modern efforts to maintain peace. We will also showcase a unique video compilation capturing heartfelt responses to the question “What does peace mean to you?” from residents of both Derby and Osnabrück. The event will also feature speeches from special guests, including local community leaders, and an engaging “Untold Stories” workshop, where participants can create peace doves. Enjoy a complimentary lunch provided by our café, and be part of this meaningful celebration of peace and community. Don’t miss this opportunity to reflect, create, and connect—everyone is welcome!
