by staffFor the academic year 2022-23, Artcore is working with four students from Horizons Sixth Form using a variety of art mediums and themes to support students in their creative exploration. We are also supporting learning and development of transferable life skills relating to the five themes of the Horizons’ ‘SHAPE’ curriculum: Safety, Health and Happiness, Aspiration and Achievement, Positive Contribution and Enterprise.
Through working collaboratively, students are creating a body of work to be showcased in June 2022 which will feature pieces created using painting, printing, clay, film, papier-mâché and collage. In preparation for our showcase, Artcore will co-curate the exhibition with the students to ensure that their work is exhibited as intended with everything from text panels and display to the introductions and invitations being decided together.
