Designed for learners with some or no experience, this course helps you refine your technique, experiment with new decorative processes, and develop personal projects.

Workshop Dates:

Wednesdays (6.30pm – 8.30pm) – Starting from 4 November to 14 December.
Fridays (10am – 12pm) – Starting from 6 November to 11 December.

Note: We are not able to contact customers to let them know when their individual pieces will be ready, due to the volume of work going through our kilns. You will be given a time estimate for when your piece will be ready to glaze or when it will be ready for collection. It will normally be at least three weeks from the date you make your piece until it is ready to glaze, and at least 10 days after you have glazed your piece before it will be ready for collection.

Description

What You’ll Learn

  • Handbuilding: pinching, coiling, slabbing
  • Wheel throwing
  • Slip decoration (sgraffito, inlay, mocha infusion)
  • Using stencils, silkscreens, and printmaking techniques on clay
  • Creating underglaze transfers and monoprints
  • Glazing and finishing your own ceramic work

Who It’s For

Learners who have already completed a beginner-level course or have no experience and want to build confidence and technical skill.

Course Fees

£195 per for 6-weeks. Course fee includes tuition and materials.
