Our Future Endeavours project works with young people in Derby aged 10-18 through an artistic programme designed to increase access to art and creativity by incorporating STEM subjects. Using science, technology, engineering and maths, we are encouraging employment-related skills through creative expression in workshops delivered by professional artists. At Artcore, we are actively working to enhance the opportunities and social mobility of young people in the city. Future Endeavours serves a fun, free way of achieving this goal.

Power to Empower is a craft-based employability course exclusively for adults living in Derbyshire who are not in employment, education or training. Through this course, participants will learn craft making skills, develop knowledge of branding, packaging and selling work as well as exploring pathways to establish small businesses. Participants will be led through artist workshops designed to teach new skills, build confidence and facilitate a strong and supportive network of fellow makers.

Express Yourself is a weekly after-school project for young people aged 8-15. Through these sessions led by professional artists, we support confidence-building, collaboration and expression by providing fun outlets for young people to showcase their ideas. Through Express Yourself we offer the opportunity for participants to collaborate with both artists and each other using a variety of art mediums.
